Custom Bezels:

GK Scott bezels are custom-made to fit your Rolex watch using only 18-karat gold and authentic diamonds. We use only the highest quality VS2/SI1 clarity and G/H color diamonds, which means they face up clean and clear, with no eye-visible inclusions and little to no color. Our custom-made bezels provide the option of adding an extra touch of class for only a fraction of the cost.

Custom Dials:

Our expert dial makers painstakingly restore all of our original Rolex dials to like-new condition. Each natural diamond, Roman numeral, or stick marker is then set by hand to create the custom look that our customers desire. We've provided an example below to better explain what is meant by "restore".

All three of the dials shown below are genuine Rolex dials. The one on the left is in it's original condition. The Rolex logo and text are still crisp but the color has faded noticeably over time. The dial in the middle is also an authentic Rolex dial but this one has been refinished by GK Scott. The fresh color scintillates in the light just as it did when it was originally manufactured. Note how clean and sharp the writing on the dial is. The dial to the right was given to us by a customer who purchased a watch from one of our competitors and was unhappy with the quality. The color is flat. The text is distorted and blurry. The refinisher glued the markers to the dial surface as opposed to individually screwing the markers into the dial which is what we do with every dial at GK Scott. The difference is striking.

Italian-made Bracelets:

Because the center links on original Rolex bracelets were hollow, the bracelets tend to stretch considerably over time. Unlike some of our competitors, who use “Italian-made” bracelets that are really manufactured in China or India, we replace those loose bands with brand new Italian-made bracelets that are actually manufactured in Italy (go figure). We can do this because we formed a relationship with one of only two companies in Italy that has the expertise to make these bracelets to the same specifications as the original Rolex bands. So our customers can rest assured that not only are they getting the best quality, but real Italian craftsmanship as well.

Like-New:

GK Scott watches go through an extensive finishing process before being sold. Our master watchmakers - who each have over 20 years of experience - service, clean, and polish each watch so it is guaranteed to be free of scratches, blemishes, or signs of wear. They then calibrate the movement and test it for three full days to ensure proper time keeping. So, when we say your watch will be in “Like-New” condition, we mean it.

Sapphire Conversion Crystal:

Earlier model Rolex watches came with acrylic crystals, which can scratch easily and become dull over time. To make our watches look and function like new, we upgrade the acrylic crystals with a concave, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which is what Rolex uses on its new models. The result is a more attractive and more durable watch.

Quick-Set:

The quick-set feature allows the wearer to set the date on his or her Rolex without having to change the time.

Water Resistant:

Because new Rolex watches are only warranted to be waterproof for one year after purchase, we cannot guarantee that your pre-owned watch will be 100% waterproof. We recommend that you treat your watch as water resistant and do not swim, shower, or bathe in it.
